Syracuse has lost a true classic. We lived 2 doors down from the bakery on Geddas St when I was growing up. Don used to let me come in the back to watch him make cakes. Occassionally he would let me put the frosting between the layers. He never forgot my name or my birthday and would offer me my choice of a cookie or donut each year. 2/25 day old donuts, 1 penny for tootsie rolls and Bingos. And the very best jelly donuts around!! He will be missed greatly!

RIP Mr. Patrician. You made my wedding cake in 1975. I still have the cutting knife with your name on it. Sincere Sympathy to the family. Fly high with the angels at God Speed

I would like to extend my sympathy to the Patrician family. I have known Don since high school. We were friends ever since. We bowled together for a couple of years. His quality of baking was the best. RIP Don. You will be missed.
