Anthony C. D'Elia

Anthony C. D'Elia, 61, of Syracuse, passed away August 25, 2018. He was born in Syracuse and was formerly employed as a mechanic for Sears for over 20 years and also worked for Onondaga County in Facilities Management for 8 years. Anthony was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed his mother's garden and loved eating the fruits and vegetables he picked. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Anna Leone D'Elia and his siblings, Ada Pistello and Orlando D'Elia. He is survived by his brothers, Bernardo (Esther) of East Syracuse, Frank (Shelia) of Colorado and John (Teresa) of Cazenovia; his sisters, Flora (Ed) Gilner of Auburn and Wanda Haupt of Wampsville; brother-in-law, Pete Pistello of East Syracuse; several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 1 at 11am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Eastwood, Syracuse. Burial will be private. Leave a condolence for the family on the Tribute Wall.
