Bonnie J. (Serens) Bateson

Bonnie J. Bateson, 72, of East Syracuse passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 2, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the Francis House. Bonnie graduated from ESM High School in 1966 and then furthered her education in beauty school to become a hair stylist. She is predeceased by her father Lester Serens and her mother Elizabeth Serens.

Bonnie is survived by her 3 daughters, Leslie Marino, Jessica Marino and Pamela Marino (Greg Wolfe). Her brothers John (Sue) Serens, James (Karen) Serens, 4 grandchildren, Ryan Marino (Andrea Sielof),Logan Wolfe,Gavan Smith, and Addyson Wolfe.Nieces and nephews Kelley Serens(Jason Markham), Adam Serens, Kristen McClusky (Mike McClusky), Morgan Serens along with great niece and nephew Grayson and Stella. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew's Church in East Syracuse, NY on Monday at 11AM. Calling hours will be Monday July 8th from 9-11 AM at the church prior to the Mass.
