Cheryl, 74, of East Syracuse, died Sunday, December 9th at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. In July 1972, she began working for more than 27 years with Carrier Corporation, retiring in October of 1999. After retirement, Cheryl worked for 5 years with Robson Woese and part-time for a few years at Menorah Park as a receptionist. She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church and served as Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Bereavement Ministry. She is predeceased by her parents, Agnes and Gilbert Forget; her husband, Zane DeForest; brothers, John and Ron; nephews, David, James and Steven Forget and brother-in-law, Thomas Donaldson. She is survived by her sister, Joan Donaldson; her brother, Bob (Anna Marie), her nephews, Thomas (Lisa) Donaldson, William Donaldson and her niece Tina Forget Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Dec 14th at 9am in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
