Edward F. Grala

Edward Grala, of Eastwood passed away Friday in the VA Medical Center. Edward was born in 1933 to Frank and Bertha Grala. He graduated from Eastwood High School and Morrisville AG&Tech. He served in the NY National Guard and then the USAF until 1957. He was President of One Parent Club 1998-99 and he belonged to the American Legion post 1650. He was in the Color Guard CART and Commander of the Korean Veterans Association Chapter 105 and was 2nd and 1st Vice Commander in the Dept. of NY Korean Veterans and Sr. Vice Commander of the Onondaga County Veteran's Council. He was a communicant of Transfiguration Catholic Church and he leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Yvonne; two sisters, four step-children; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 5th at 10am in St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Leave a condolence for the family on the Tribute Wall.
