Edward Paul Murphy

Edward Paul Murphy , age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday , June 12th , 2019. He was born on November 21st , 1940 in Syracuse , NY to Edward T. and Clarice (Champlin) Murphy. Ed was a graduate of Syracuse's Central Tech High School. 
"Murph" lived life to the fullest through his love of family , friends , music & animals. He impacted everyone he met with his witty sense of humor & enjoyed entertaining at his residence in Jack's Reef , NY.
He is survived by his four children , Wendy (Robert) Newman , Monica Murphy , Edward Murphy , & Kerri Murphy , his five grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. 
A remembrance of life celebration will be held 1:00pm - 5:00 pm Saturday , June 15th at The Reef restaurant & bar ( formerly the Jack's Reef Hotel) 1161 Old Route 31 , Memphis , NY 13112. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the cnycatcoalition.org
