John Christopher Lubeck

John Christopher Lubeck, 56, of Constantia, NY was called home by the angels to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with ALS. Born in Rome, NY in 1962, he met the love of his life, Francine, in 1985. They married and had three children who they raised in a loving home. John was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was predeceased by his father, Paul (Carol), mother, Hilda and sister, Debbie. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Francine; his children, Joshua (Nicole), Nicholas (Sophia) and Zachary (Taylor); He is also survived by his family members, Shelly (Paul), Paul Jr. (Chris) and Greg; his grandchildren, extended family and many members of the bluegrass community who cherished the time spent playing bluegrass music with John. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center, Jordan,NY. on Monday October 29, 2018 from 1-5pm. The family would like to thank the Nurses and Physicians and all who provided John with outstanding care at Upstate University Hospital.
