Kevin F. Masters

Kevin passed away Thursday October 11, 2018 at the age of 59. He went by "Pops," a name given to him decades ago by Sarah Lenning. He was a hard working man who loved his family very much. He never gave up on any job until it was done, including his cancer which he fought with strength and courage. He went to High School in Skaneateles and to College at Cobleskill. He worked for CSX railroad for many years before retiring in 2016. 
He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone.  His family never questioned how much he loved them. He has left this life to be with his mother, Helen, his son,Tyler and many others. We hope they had projects for him to do and things for him to fix when he got up there. The family would like to thank Hill Medical Center for giving him more time with his family.  They would also like to thank Ashley, Maryanne and the entire Hospice team for their unwavering support.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Masters, his son Brandon (Carey) Houston, his daughter Kayla (Sean) O'Brien, his sister Mary Jo (David) Hoeft, his brother Tom (Barb) Masters, his brother Ted Ludington, his granchildren Emily, Sylar, Baily and Faye as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours are Saturday Oct. 20th from 10am-1pm in MATHEWSON-FORANI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of CNY or The Fabius Pompey Outreach PO Box 251 Pompey, NY 13138. Leave a condolence for the family on the Tribute Wall.
