Maggie B. (Buda) Girolamo

Maggie B. (Buda) Girolamo, 98, of East Syracuse, passed away April 29, 2017. She was born in Canastota, NY and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church.

She was employed as a secretary for St. Matthew's Church for 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 2008, her parents, Salvatore and Josephine Buda and all her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Richard) Ferguson of Eastwood, Marcia Girolamo of Texas; grandchildren, Katherine (Liam) Corey of Delaware, Mary Ellen Ferguson of Syracuse and Suzanna (Farris) Salman of Syracuse; great-grandchildren, Ceili, Colin and Aubrey; her brother, Anthong (Lucille) Buda of Akron, PA; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in St. Matthew's Church, East Syracuse. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 AM at the church prior to the mass. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Matthew's Church Food Pantry.
