Michael Sanson

Michael J. Sanson, 54, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully July 9, 2019 at home surrounded by family and friends.  Michael was born in Syracuse, NY, January 17, 1965 to Michael S. and Anne M. Sanson. He graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School in 1983, and received his Associates in Applied Science degree in Industrial Model Making from Genesee Community College in 1986.  He was a Technical Services Coordinator for Cadimensions Inc. and retired in 2018 to pursue other dreams.  He is predeceased by his mother, Anne M. Barden Sanson and his beloved dogs Quack, Sally & Bear.  Michael loved walking his dogs, enjoyed hiking and target shooting with his friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, especially his family.

 Michael is survived by his father Michael S.; his three older siblings Peter of San Francisco, CA, Kathleen Bloodough of East Syracuse and Nancy of Dewitt, nephew Robert (Megan) Bloodough, niece Jenna Bloodough and grand nephew Griffin Bloodough; and his lifelong buddies, Larry (Sandy) Greiner and Rick Servello who lovingly assisted with his care in the end.  The family is very grateful for this, and for the care he received from his Doctors, Nurses and the staff of Crouse and Upstate Hospitals.

 Services will be held Saturday July 13, 2019 at 8:15 a.m. at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home Inc, and a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m.at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa, NY, with burial following in the parish cemetery.  Calling hours are Friday 4 to 7pm at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse, NY.
