Nicoletta "Nickie" (Pizzuto) Griola

On March 24, 2019, 25 days short of her 100th birthday, Nicoletta "Nickie" Griola (Pizzuto) passed away at home. Born to John and Pasqualina Pizzuto, Nickie grew up in Liverpool and attended Liverpool schools. She worked many years as a waitress at Imperial Lanes, where she made lasting friendships. Nickie was predeceased by her husband Paul Griola (1990). Surviving are her daughters Paula (Michael Lynch), Kathy Griola, Lisa (Chuck) Gaspe, and her two granddaughters, Alyssa and Jordan Gaspe, who were the lights of her life. Nickie had a heart of gold and valued her family above all else. She has now taken her greatest journey to serve as one of God's best angels.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday March 28, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Mary's Church, Main Street in Minoa, New York. Visitation will be from 10:30-11am prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa.
