Rose Marie Ennamorato Laterra, 91, passed away September 28, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Oneonta, NY and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church. She was formerly employed by ACME Markets for 25 years and Price Chopper for 20 years. She volunteered at St. Matthew's School cafeteria and at the Friday night fish fry's. She was a member of Oneida Lake Region Antique Club for over 50 years and belonged to NARVE Unit 53. She was also an avid bowler, at Fremont Lanes, an avid golfer, she enjoyed making crafts and was an SU and Yankees fan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vito and Jennie Ennamorato, her husband, Carl Laterra, her siblings, Sullivan and Anthony Ennamorato and her longtime friend, Lou Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla (Ralph) Rochon; grandchildren, Tonia Lee (Sean) Thomas and Robert Lee (Nicole) Showman; great grandchildren, Kayla Rose Thomas, Sean Anthony Thomas and Alexander Showman; brothers, Andrew and Michael Ennamorato. Also survived by sister Mary (George) Hunt, whom she was like a Mother to and her daughter, Renee and her children, Nico and Luca; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday at 8:30 AM in MATHEWSON-FORANI FUNERAL HOME, INC. and 9 AM in St. Matthew's Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St., E. Syracuse. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Central New York.
