William J. Moran

William J. Moran, age 78, of Otisco, passed away peacefully at his home February 3rd, with his family by his side. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and retired from General Motors in 1993, after 29 years of service. He was a very charitable man and also the best Mr. Mom who was actively involved in his children’s education. Bill enjoyed cooking and always insisted on family dinners every night. Besides spoiling all of his girls, he also enjoyed gardening, family vacations, SU basketball, and relaxing in the yard with his wife. He was an endless source of entertainment to all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his mother, Sarah in 2005, and his son, Billy in 1983. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Wendy, his daughters Deena Moran of Syracuse, Kelly and Shawna Moran of Otisco, and a granddaughter, Nicole Rizzo of Syracuse. 

His family would like to thank the many friends, neighbors, and family members, including the family at St. Patrick’s Church in Otisco for all their support and prayers. Services
