Barbara W. Conway, 89, of Jamesville, passed away on February 8 at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. Her beloved daughter Tracy was by her side. Barb graduated from Geneva High School, and retired from AT&T. After retirement, she returned to work at Sam’s Club, where she loved interacting with customers. Barb enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, musical theater, game shows and traveling (especially to casinos with slot machines). She was a huge Syracuse basketball fan, and planned all of her activities around their games. Barb was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Francis Conway. She is survived by her daughters Tracy Murphy of Syracuse and Karen (Steve) Barto of Seneca Falls, son Roger Murphy of Georgia, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. At Barb’s request there will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Eastern Onondaga County or Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry at (her close friend Jason Roberts’ charity bike ride). Barb had a warm smile and a kind word for everyone; she will be missed. Special thanks to Dr. Ryan Magnuson and the Crouse ICU team for their compassionate care. Condolences:

I was so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I got to know her from delivering Meals to her on every Friday, for the past 12 years.
I so enjoyed our short conversations. She used to tell me about every place that Tracy took her to & visiting the Casino's was #1!!
Barbara always greeted me with a smile, even when I could see that she was declining. Barbara never complained & she was always interested in how I was doing.
Barbara will certainly be missed by all.
All my thoughts & prayers,
Judy Schepp
