Anne Carolyn Miller

Anne Miller passed away peacefully at The Grand in Chittenango surrounded by family and friends.

She was an active member of The Kirkville Community Church.

She attended early years of schooling both in Kirkville and Verona while graduating from Minoa High School in 1959.

She worked as an Executive Assistant at Carrier Corporation after graduating from CCBI where she obtained a business and secretarial science degree. Upon leaving Carrier in the early sixties, she worked as a legal secretary and trained as a Paralegal at Douglas Temple Law firm in East Syracuse.

Anne spent many years as an active member of North Manlius United Church and more recently at Kirkville Community Church. Besides teaching Sunday school, she sang in the choir and lent her skills by serving as Treasurer and Secretary.

Anne developed an interest in family genealogy as well as local history. She worked with The Kirkville Historical Society and The Erie Canal Museum of Chittenango.

Anne met her husband, William Chaddick, in 1974. They were together many years until his passing in 2017.

Anne was also predeceased by her mother, Anne Park Miller, and father, Lloyd J. Miller.

She leaves behind beloved brothers and sisters Edwin C. Miller (Virginia), Linda J. Walton, Lloyd J. Miller, Jr. (Yvonne), Charles Parke Miller, Hugh W. Miller, Dorothy M. Commo (George Commo) and Ben S. Miller (Laura), as well as many nephews, nieces, grand & great-grand nephews and nieces, not to mention many loving cousins and friends who will miss her humor, kindness and generosity.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are appreciated for any of the following organizations:

Fyler Settlement Food Pantry, Wanderer's Rest Humane Society of Canastota, or Erie Canal Society of Chittenango.

A memorial service will be held on May 17th at the Kirkville Community Church. Her remains will be placed at the Fyler Settlement Cemetery.
