Antonetta (Todisco) Kuklinski

Antonetta  A. Kuklinski 91, of East Syracuse, New York died peacefully on February 7, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center surrounded by her family.  
Antonetta was born in Syracuse NY, on April 25, 1931. She graduated from North High in 1949.

She was employed in administrative roles first at Rudolph Jewelers and later at The Royal Globe Insurance Company. She married Richard John Kuklinski on April 30, 1955 and had a happy marriage. She spent her life devoted to her husband and children and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Warners, NY.  She was a CCD teacher for St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, a volunteer for Amnesty International, and enjoyed over 30 years as an Usher at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center. She was an avid reader, expert baker, follower of the arts and music and enjoyed hosting family holidays. She loved to travel and plan family vacations- Hilton Head Island and Lake Placid being her favorites.

She was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Richard John Kuklinski. She is survived by her five children Maria (Brian) Long of Matthews, NC, Annette (the late Michael W.) Patterson of Chittenango, NY, Richard (Colleen) Kuklinski of East Syracuse, NY, Christine (Thomas) Sedita, Delray Beach, Florida, Susann Peck of Glen Ridge, NJ and her identical twin sister Maria H. Russo. She is survived by her fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a baby great-granddaughter on the way and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Antonetta will be most remembered for her zest for life, her upbeat attitude, gift of encouragement, spirited personality and love of Jesus Christ and her church.  She had a deep, abiding faith and wanted everyone she met to know God.  “I am the resurrection. Anyone who believes in me, even though that person dies, will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” John 11: 25-26 

Calling hours are on Sunday, February 26, from 2-5 pm at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc. 206 Kinne Street East Syracuse NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 10:00 am at St Cecilia Catholic Church at 1001 Woods Road, Solvay, NY. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa, NY.
