Barbara J. VanWie, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 28, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born April 25, 1954, in Syracuse N.Y, she was a loving mother of two, a grandmother to 9 a great grandmother to four. She is survived by her two children, Karene Van Wie, Daniel (Jill) VanWie her sisters, Joanne (Bill) Arkerson and Anna Marie Widowski, her brothers, Frank (Debbie) Stirpe and Mike (Pattie) Stirpe. her companion of 39yrs, Victor Siler, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel VanWie, her parents, Frank and Jean Stirpe, her sister, Cheryl Koehler.
