Bruno John Latini

On the Early morning hours of April 20, 2023 Bruno Latini passed away in Syracuse New York to peacefully “go home”. Bruno was born in New York and raised in Riverdale in the Bronx to his father Bruno Latini and his mother Shirley Latini on March 2, 1960. As a child born to a Sicilian born father and a strong German mother, cooking was one of Bruno‘s highlights. One of his signature dishes was a rich Italian sauce with spaghetti and meatballs!

A talented artist Bruno would often sketch his family members effortlessly along with beautiful pictures of nature. Bruno was also a very talented carpenter by trade. Turning the old into the new, Bruno specialized in roofing.

Bruno‘s happy place with spending time with friends listening to rock ‘n’ roll music enjoying a beer and lots of laughter. Described perfectly by one of Bruno‘s surviving stepsons, Brian, “When you made a positive connection with Bruno, it turned to love fast”.

Bruno is survived by his wife, Shirley, his sisters, Gina and Anne, nephew Nicholas, along with many beautiful stepchildren and great stepchildren. He is also survived by lifetime friend, Bobby West and Anthony, & many more dear, loving friends.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 27 from 4 PM to 6:30 PM at the Mathewson–Forani Funeral Home, Inc., 206 Kinne Street, East Syracuse, New York, 13057, with a service to follow at 6:30 PM.
