Carol M. Kite

Carol Joyce Menzies Kite, 89, daughter of the late William Lyle Menzies and the late Margaret Katherine (Hill) Menzies, and the late Nellie (Pinkowizc) Menzies, passed away peacefully the evening of January 12, 2026, surrounded by her greatest treasures, her surviving children. 

Carol was a stay-at-home Mom and found so much joy in gardening, reading and singing. She was also known as Coco to the many children she babysat over the years. She frequently wrote into newspaper columns and never failed to point out spelling and grammatical mistakes; writing was a talent she possessed but was too humble to admit. 

Somewhere over the rainbow, she is now reunited with the love of her life, Frank P. Kite and her boys, Stevie and Rick Kite. Please send warm, healing thoughts and prayers to her surviving children, Michael Kite, Janelle Kite, Elisia (Norman) Landers and Denette Sardella, to her grandchildren, Ryan Landers, Rachel Regis, Brittany (Jake Smith) Sardella, Haley Landers and Heather Sardella, to her 7 great grandchildren, to her sisters Diana Klinger and Shirley Menzies and to her many family, friends and loved ones.
