Catherine Michlovitch Obituary

Catherine J. (Garufi) Michlovitch, 76, of East Syracuse, passed away September 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Catherine was born in East Syracuse and was a school bus driver for East Syracuse-Minoa School District for over 20 years. She married her husband, Thomas Michlovitch, December 16, 1967 and moved to Petaluma, CA for 3 years before returning to East Syracuse. Catherine loved to travel to San Diego to visit her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed exercise and riding her bike and loved to talk.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; her children, Thomas V. Michlovitch of Cicero and Andrea Michlovitch (Alan Clark) of San Diego; her grandchildren, Stephanie Josephine Michlovitch, Alexander Thomas Clark and Addison Catherine Clark.

Calling hours are Saturday September 25th from 9-11am at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse with a service to follow at 11am. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.

Contributions would be appreciated in Catherine's name to the American Diabetes Assn or American Cancer Society.
