Charlotte G. Couse

Charlotte G. Couse, of Oswego, passed away on May 11th, 2024. Born in Cumberland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Viola Corcoran.

Charlotte's life was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. She found joy in the simplest of pleasures, cherishing moments spent with her family, relishing the flavors she crafted in the kitchen, and nurturing the beauty of her garden. Her love for exploration, books, camping, bowling and into the treasures of yard sales and thrift shops were some of her most favorite hobbies.

A devout member of the United Baptist Church of Scriba, Charlotte's faith was a guiding light in her life. She also found purpose in service, as a life auxiliary member of the VFW and an active participant in the Scriba Historical Society.

Charlotte's legacy lives on through her children, Brian Couse, Christine Couse, and Rebecca Allen. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in the hearts of her eight grandchildren, Robert, Joshua, Jessica, Veronica, Madison, Nicholas, India, and Alex, as well as her six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Merl, Roberta, and Caroline, Lifelong devoted friend Anne Bennett, lifelong friends Joanne, Birdie and amongst many others. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Couse, son Bruce Couse, brothers Norman, Horace, Eugene, Gerald, and Francis as well as sisters Virginia, Audrey, and Beverly.

While Charlotte's earthly journey has come to an end, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her. Her spirit remains ever present, a beacon of light guiding those she loved towards a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service/celebration of life on Sunday, June 9,2024 at 12pm at United Baptist Church of Scriba 5111 State Route 104, Oswego, NY 13126 followed by a luncheon.
