Christopher John Hinton

Christopher J. Hinton, 58, of East Syracuse passed away on April 28, 2023 at Francis House in Syracuse. Chris was born on October 12, 1965. He attended both Henninger and ESM High Schools and studied at State University of NY at Oswego. He was employed by LeMoyne college as a chef.

In addition to his parents, Chris was predeceased by his brothers Greg (1983) and Dan (2019).

Chris is survived by his sons, Ryan and Casey Hinton, his sisters, Vanessa Hinton and Mary Yates and brothers, Jeff and Larry Hinton. Chris is also survived by longtime girlfriend, Kristi Ohlin, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Chris was a avid sports fan of SU, Celtics, Bruins and Yankees games. There will be no calling hours. A party to celebrate Chris’s life is planned. email jeffhinton1@gmail.com for additional information.
