Daniel P. Parker, 65, of Syracuse passed away peacefully August 25, 2024 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.
Dan was born on July 23, 1959 in Syracuse NY to the late Leo C. Parker, Sr and the late Shirley (Rockwell) Parker. He spent his younger years living in Syracuse, then moving to Chaumont, NY before returning to Syracuse to become a renowned vehicle body mechanic. Dan had a passion for repairing damaged vehicles and was one of the most talented body mechanics in central New York.
Daniel is survived by siblings Sandra (David) Mooney of Manlius, Connie Ballard of Las Vegas NV, Ronald (Suzanne) Parker of Dexter, David (Linda) Parker of North Syracuse, Donald (Valorie) Parker of Nedrow, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents Dan was predeceased by siblings, Mary (James) Lawrence of Pulaski, Leo Parker, Jr of Syracuse, Thomas (Bonnie) Parker of Chaumont, Deborah (Timothy) Hills of Chaumont, and Dennis Parker of Syracuse along with his faithful dog, Duke. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
