Daniel J. Wagner

Daniel J. Wagner, 71, of East Syracuse, passed away June 30, 2023, surrounded by family. Dan was born in Syracuse, NY on October 13, 1951 to the late Donald and Florence Wagner.

Dan owned Taurus Computer Group, loved his job and worked up until his very last days.

He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Wagner and niece, AnnMarie Wagner.

He is survived by his children, Daniel and Maria (Rizzo), Angela and Gregory (Cwikla); grandchildren, Vincent and Franco Wagner; girlfriend, Barbra Smith, Mother of his children, Gloria Wagner, brother, Donald Wagner, sisters, Patrice Soltau, Pam Watson, Maureen Watson and many nieces and nephews.

Dan had a great sense of humor, a huge heart, adored time with his family and friends, loved to cruise, play cards and was always up for a debate. He loved social events and would make friends everywhere he went.  He loved the Village of East Syracuse and at a time was a trustee. He has gifted his body to science.

Calling hours will be Friday July 7th, from 4-6pm with a memorial service to follow at 6pm at Mathewson-Forani funeral home, 206 Kinne St. East Syracuse, NY 13057.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Upstate Foundation for the Cancer Center.
