Daryl Anne Hanifan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, unexpectedly and peacefully passed away at her home in Camillus, NY, on December 1, 2024. Born in Syracuse, NY, Daryl was known for her generosity, warmth, and quick wit.
Daryl was an accomplished quilter, admired for her exceptional skills and creativity, and had a remarkable way of bringing beauty into everything she touched. She was the proud owner and operator of Seams Possible Quilt Shoppe and held the role of Machine Department Manager at Calico Gals, where her colleagues held her in the highest regard for her dedication, expertise, and the kindness she shared.
Above all, Daryl cherished her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, finding immense joy in her entire family. Her infectious sense of humor, caring nature, and deep love will be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
Daryl was predeceased by her parents, Sharon and David Graham, and her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Fellows. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark, her daughter, Tawna (Christian) Crandall, her son, Ryan (Amanda) Hanifan, and six beloved grandchildren. Daryl also leaves behind her loving sisters, Carrie Fellows, Sheila (David) Milden, and Gwen (Stan) Leffler, as well as a large and loving extended family.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Daryl’s memory will be held at a later date.
