David Hinman Obituary

David R. Hinman, 70, passed away August 12, 2024 at his home in Syracuse. David was a kind and intelligent man of many interests, including travel and archeology. Retired from social service, David helped many clients over his long career. He is remembered as a great friend, neighbor and brother. David is survived by sisters Lillian Ackerman of Syracuse, Patricia Rankin-Hinman of San Antonio, Texas, Julie Gustafson of Sweet Home, Oregon and brother Matthew Hinman of Central Square. Burial was private. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
