Deborah A. Foster

Deborah Ann Foster, 71, died April 21, 2025 at her home in Jamesville, NY.

Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School.

She worked for Peters IGA Grocery for ten years before becoming a certified nursing assistant. She worked for the Van Duyn Nursing Home, retiring several years ago after providing care to so many patients.

Debbie loved animals. She owned horses, dogs, and her beloved cats through the years. She was as gentle, kind and caring as anyone could ever be.

She was a hard worker and provided help to anyone in need, throughout her life.

She was a wonderful soul who will be greatly missed and remembered always by those who knew her.

Debbie was predeceased by her beloved parents, Stanley E. Foster (1927-2008) of Georgetown, NY and Dorothy I. Hayes Foster (1924-2000) of Bridgeport, NY.

She is survived by her sisters Dale Bengar of Kirkville and Donna Coates of North Syracuse; her brother David Foster of East Syracuse; and beloved extended family.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at New Bridgeport Cemetery under the care of Kevin Mathewson of Mathewson-Forani Funeral
