Dolores F. (Smith) Cannon

Dolores F. Cannon, 93, of Syracuse passed away June 13, 2021. She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA and was predeceased by her husband, Bernard A. Cannon in 1980 and her son, Michael (Charlotte) Cannon. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Dick) Thorpe of Marcellus, Joanne (Rich) Parisi of Liverpool, Bernie Cannon of Mechanicsville, NY, Christopher Cannon of Liverpool, Thomas (Susie) Cannon of Baldwinsville and Mary Cannon Worboys of Orlando, FL; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild ; her brother, John “Jack” (Rosie) Smith of Kingston, PA. Dolores was a wonderful wife, mom, gramma, sister and friend. Her favorite times were spent entertaining her family and friends. 

We are so thankful to the staff at St. Camillus for the loving care they extended to our mom for the last five years. Services will be held at Christ the King Church in Liverpool on Saturday, August 14th. Calling hours from 11:30am-1pm with a Mass to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kids Central @North Central Church, 7463 Buckley Rd., N. Syracuse., 13212 or a charity of your choice.
