Donald F. Cornell

Donald F. Cornell, 70, died February 16, 2020 at the VA Medical Center, in Syracuse, NY.  Donald was born On November 23, 1949, the son of Donald and Coleta Schrock Cornell. He lived in the Syracuse area most of his life.

Donald was a skilled industrial mechanic and electrician who worked at Allen Tool, Carrier Corp and Raytheon over the years. He was knowledgeable in many areas and people often came to him for advice. He often joked that his epitaph would be, "I can fix that". He also loved cars and motorcycles and raced both in his younger years. He had a great sense of humor and always had a joke or story to tell.  

He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Carol; his daughter, Julianne (Jason) Andrews and his son, Sean (Dawn) Cornell; his granddaughters, Emily, Sophia, Grace and Ava. He will be missed by all of his family whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his close friend of over fifty years, Jerry Depaolis. Memorial services at a later date.
