Donna Marie Meck

August 18, 1943 – November 28, 2024

Donna passed away peacefully Thanksgiving evening surrounded by family.

Born in Billings Montana, and living the bulk of her life in Omaha Nebraska, Donna lived a very full life. Preceded in passing by her husband Gary to whom she was married for 60 years, Donna and Gary lived the last 8 years in Syracuse New York with her daughter Dorothy Fries and husband Alan Fries. Donna is also survived by her other daughter Gail Connolley in Omaha Nebraska. Donna has several Grandchildren, Ashley and Armae Fries, Cody Hansen, Dallas Meck with Nichole Affleck, and Brianna Connolley with Mathew Knecht. Step Grandchildren include Zachary, Ariel, Ashley, and Kayla. Donna also has six great grandchildren Aurelia Fries, Kaiden Knecht, Olivia, Alaina, Johnathan, and Jasmine.

In addition to her immediate family she is also survived by Sister in Law Lynn Clayton and Sister in Law Norma Kraner

Donna can easily be remembered as someone who would give her all to help someone and for her love of song birds. Seeing a cardinal or hummingbird immediately brings thoughts and memories of mom. Her other joys included the holidays season with its lights and decorations and spending time with her family. While we will miss her dearly with each passing day, she is with her soulmate once again and for that we are thankful.
