Obituary
Dorothy L. (Aldrich) Beardsley, 92, of Delphi Falls died Sunday, April 2, 2023 after a short illness. She was the loving wife of Kenneth C. Beardsley for 63 years until his death in 2014. They had four children: Christine (Bill) Carpenter (deceased), Kathleen (Scott P.) Beers (deceased), Steven (deceased) and Beth, also one honorary daughter, Vicki Hughes; 3 grandchildren: Scott K. Beers, Renee Beardsley (Ben), James Carpenter (Tasha); 5 honorary grandchildren: Jacob Featherly, Madyson Featherly, Riley Featherly, Jenna Hughes and Kaleb Hughes; 5 great grandchildren: Jordan, Anthony, Zayden, Oakley and Kristine; 2 honorary great granddaughters: Kiara, and Briella.
Dorothy had a loving and generous spirit and rarely met a stranger who did not become a long-time friend. She will be hugely missed. Mom, your death has left a huge hole in my heart but left such wonderful memories to fill the rest of my heart and soul until we meet again Rest easy in God’s love and light.
A memorial service will be held May 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Delphi Falls Fire House with a Celebration of Life reception immediately following.
