Eleanor (Burgmier) Perrigo

Eleanor (Burgmier) Perrigo, 92, of Syracuse, passed away February 19, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was a life resident of Syracuse and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church. 

She loved her family and her smile brightened everyone’s day. She was a caring, loving mother, grandmother, Aunt, and friend. She was also everyone's grandmother. She was formerly employed by Friedel Paper Box Company and was a member of the East Syracuse Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  

She was predeceased by her husband, Jasper Perrigo. She is survived by her son, William (Mary) Perrigo of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Dawn Quonce of North Syracuse and William (Terra) Perrigo of Florida; her great grandchildren, Brittney Quonce, Makenzie Quonce (Killian), Madison Perrigo, Kaydence Perrigo and Michael; her great-great grandchildren, Avianna Quonce and Audrey McCarthy.

Calling hours are Friday February 25 from 2-4pm at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse with a service to follow at 4pm. There will be a gathering at Eaves after the services. Donations in Eleanor's name can be made to CNY SPCA  on Molloy Rd.
