Frances (Casciano) Sanson

Frances (Casciano) Sanson, 96, of East Syracuse, passed away November 9, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born in Buffalo, NY. She was employed with the family business, Leo & Sons Big M Supermarket in East Syracuse.  She worked  by her brother, Joseph’s side for many years.

She married the love of her life, John Sanson, July 4, 1945. She was predeceased by John, June 19, 2020. She loved bowling, the senior club trips, bingo and luncheons.  She was always ready to hop in the car for an adventure.  They usually ended with ice cream. She had the heart as big as the sky.  Always there to lend a hand or wipe a tear.  Her smile that melted your heart will be sorely missed.She is survived by her children, Paulette (Bill) Lane of Kirkville  and Robert (Patsy) Sanson of Buffalo and her grandson, Jared; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Giuseppina; her brother, Joseph, her sister, Lena (Sam), her sister, Carm (Sam), brother,Larry and brother, Frank, her niece, JoEllen Wilson and niece Ann Cartini and nephew, Leonard Casciano and nephew, Leonard Jacopelle.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday November 13th at 10 AM in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. A calling hour will be from 9-10 AM at the church prior to the Mass.
