Franklin A Josef
Born December 17, 1940 died unexpectedly August 9, 2024. Frank was born in Syracuse to Sydney and Lottie (Blum) Josef,
who immigrated to the US from Germany.
Frank attended Nottingham High School in Syracuse, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and received his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University School of Law. He had a very successful legal career, navigating adoptions, which gave him great joy, general practice, real estate, including a particular expertise in tenant/landlord matters. Frank had a passion for law and its applications and served as a judge in the Town of Manlius for 36 years.
Frank was regarded by the law community as a consummate gentleman.
His greatest joys were his family, Skaneateles Lake, ice cream and being able to ski a black diamond run in Vail at the age of 80.
Frank is survived by his sons Loren (Kelly), Brian (Meredith) and his beloved of 20 years Ann Roman, grandchildren Carter,
Jack, Ava and Asher.
Donations may be made in Frank's name to the St. Agatha Foundation
