Obituary
Gaétan (Gate) Gagné, 83, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2022. He was born in Lac Etchemen, Quebec, Canada and raised by his parents Leo Gagné and Fernande Lapierre. Gate was predeceased by the love of his life of 50 years, Odile E. Gagné (12/23/17).
Gate is survived by his son John J. Gagné (Elizabeth), six siblings in Canada, and many family and friends in the US and Canada. Gate lived most of his adult life in Syracuse and was a masonry contractor and owned G&G Construction Co. for 40+ years. Gate was a Montreal Canadiens alumni and avid golfer.
A private celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
