James A. Brant

James A. Brant, 90, of Bridgeport, passed away October 9, 2021. He was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He was a US Army veteran and served in the Korean War and was a life member of the Bridgeport VFW. He was an auto body mechanic and retired from Chuck Taylor Body Shop.

He was predeceased by his son, James Gary Brant.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his children, Vicki (Mark) Sitnik and Cheryl Lynch both of Bridgeport, Darlene Turner of Clay and Sue (Tom) Russo of Mattydale; His grandchildren, Nikki Sitnik, Renee (Zane) Fonseca, Frank Sitnik, Danielle (Ed) Neubauer, Shane Lynch, RJ Lynch, Ryan Wells, Taylor Turner, Taryn Turner, Brandon Turner, Jon Epolito and Kyle Russo; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday Oct 15th from 2-6pm at the Bridgeport VFW.
