James S Morgan

Jim died peacefully at home on February 24, 2026. He is predeceased by his father, William, mother, Kathryn (Babe), sister, Patricia, nephew, Daniel Mathewson and great nephew, Orry Dowdell.

Survived by sisters Mary (Rick) Mathewson, Sue Hare, Katie (Scott) Levy .Also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and 4 great-great nephews many cousins and countless friends, especially the Ernestine Street gang, whom he always considered family.

He was proud to have served in the US Navy and the Army National Guard. He was a faithful member of St Pius X Parish and involved in many functions and activities over the last fifty years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. We’d like to give a special thank you to his home care aid, Amy Timoll, who was so caring and wonderful to him. 

Funeral Mass will be Friday March 13th at 11am at St Pius X Church,  3010 Chili Ave., Rochester NY 14624. Burial will be private.
