James Walpole Obituary

James H. Walpole, 55, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday June 12, 2018. He was born on January 21, 1963 in Syracuse, NY. Jim graduated in 1981 from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged after 6 years. He was employed at JPW Structural Contracting in East Syracuse. Jim loved hunting, fishing, and grabbing a few beers with his friends and family. Jim’s laid-back personality allowed him to talk to anyone about anything. His words were genuine and wore his heart on his sleeve. Jim never hesitated to stop what he was doing and help those in need.

Jim is predeceased by his parents James E. Walpole and Helen (Miller) Walpole. He is survived by his partner and best friend of 25 years Rose Corso; his children: Jordan Walpole (Lamar), Paige Corso (Sean), Alec Corso (Doni), Shane Ryder; a sister, Jean (Joe) Emmons; niece Amanda Emmons (Josh); nephew Jeremy Emmons (Brittany) and their children Bentley and Phoenix; In-laws and many other family and friends. Jim described himself as a “beer drinking deer slaying chevy truck driving red neck UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS VETERAN” and wouldn’t want to be remembered any other way. Celebration of life will be Friday, June 22 from 3-8pm with Military Honors at 6pm at their home in Baldwinsville.  James H.
