Jane M. Wright

Jane M. Wright, currently of Fayetteville, New York, passed away on 2/23/2025 at Crouse Hospital.  Born on April 21, 1932 with her twin sister Joan, in Syracuse, N.Y., she was the daughter of Karl and Josephine Schlie of Minoa, N.Y. She had three additional siblings, Jean, June and Linda.

Surviving are her daughters, Diane M. Beaudoin from Rochester, N.Y., Deborah A. Parker (Jerry) from Port Charlotte, Florida along with her sons, John E. Wright (Diane) and Patrick S. Wright (Sue) from Syracuse, N.Y. Her nine grandchildren include Melissa, Abigail, and Philip; Amanda, Bruce and Tiffany; Monica; Andrew; and Clay. Her fourteen great grandchildren live with their parents in various locations from the east to the west of the United States. 

Jane graduated from North High School in 1950, then went on to be employed by ITT Hartford and Marsh & McLennan for 32 years. After retiring from Hartford in 1995, she embarked on a 3 month trip with many subsequent trips throughout Canada, Alaska and the United States in a motorhome with her dear deceased companion, Paul Proulx. Jane also spent many hours bowling, dancing, reading, playing cards and video games, but most enjoyable were the many parties with her children and grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Jane will be held on Sunday, May 4th at 2pm at Life Church in East Syracuse. She will be reunited with her parents and three sisters at White Chapel Cemetery.
