Janice Ann (Boyd) Lathrop

On Monday December 19th, the Lord called Janice Ann Boyd Lathrop, his faithful servant and our angel home. Janice was born in Bridgeport, CT, to the late Frances and William Boyd. Janice is survived by loving husband of 52 years, Fred A Lathrop, of Sterling, NY, and their four children, Donald and two sons, Layne & Owyn of North Syracuse, Nicole Burden & husband, Jodi and their 3 children, Onyx, Arianna and Jodi, of Baldwinsville, Jason of Volney and Frederick & wife Mandie, of Baldwinsville.  Also survived by daughter Michelle Conklin, husband Clint and grandson Elijah of California, sister, Jean Poniros, and her children, Denise, Chris and Wendy, brother, William III (wife Kristen) and their children, William IV, Michael, Mathew and Stephanie, Aunt Charlotte Bradley, all from CT. Sisters in Law, Maryann Lathrop, who resided with her in Sterling, Maggie Dorsey & brother-in-law John Lathrop of California and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brother-in-law Kevin Lathrop.

Jan loved her career as a bus driver, eventually retiring from the Phoenix school district.  Janice dedicated her life to her family. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother, always making every holiday special for her loved ones and ended every goodbye with "I Love You". Never having a bad thing to say about anyone, she was loved by all that had the pleasure to know her.

A memorial service will be held on 1/10 at 11a.m. at St. Thomas, 6927 Main St. Red Creek, NY.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Judes Children's Hospital. Condolences: mathewsonforani.com
