Jeffrey William Vollmer

Jeffrey William Vollmer, a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, and teacher, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, at the age of 54.  Born on September 28, 1970, Jeff brought joy and love to all who knew him.

Jeff’s life was defined by his profound love for his family, and friends. A beloved math teacher at Nottingham High School, he touched countless lives through his unwavering commitment to his students.  Jeff enjoyed traveling to Denver and Saratoga, playing cards, golf, sitting by a camp fire, and watching sports.

Jeff was a deeply cherished member of his family. He is survived by his loving parents, Donald and Jean Hess; his brother, Daniel Hess; sister-in-law, Britny Hess; his cherished niece and nephew, Isabella and Owen Hess; and extended family. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering support made him a truly wonderful brother, son, uncle and friend. He leaves behind countless friends who will remember his sense of humor, his generous spirit, and his unwavering loyalty.

Jeff's memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched, and the positive impact he made. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 19th from 5pm- 7pm at Mathewson- Forani Funeral Home. 206 Kinne Street East Syracuse, NY 13057. A private burial service will be held.
