Jerry F. Green

Jerry F. Green, 84, formerly of East Syracuse, passed away May 19, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. Jerry enlisted in the Navy at 17 years old and retired after 20 years. Immediately following his retirement, Jerry became a deputy sheriff for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department in Syracuse, NY. He retired as a Sergeant. He was also a member of the Free & Accepted Masons. He spent the best part of his life in East Syracuse enjoying life, beer drinking, loving his Bride and being the life of the party. During the last chapter of his life, Jerry moved to Las Vegas with his Bride to enjoy time with his granddaughter, Shannon and his great granddaughters, Chloe and Isabella. He will be missed by his friends, neighbors and family.

He was predeceased by his step-son, Timothy Logan. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patsy Ann "Bride" Green; his children, Terry Green-Reveles, Renata Green-Gaber and Thomas Green; his grandchildren, Shannon York, Heather Green-Brooks and Jacob Giebel, his great grandchildren, Chloe Holden, Isabella Holden and Riley Green-Brooks; his twin brother, Larry Green the last of 9 siblings. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday August 19, 2021 at 6pm at Mathewson-Forani Funeral Home, Inc., 206 Kinne St., East Syracuse, NY.
