John R. Peterson, Jr.

On May 24, 2024, John R Peterson, Jr of East Syracuse NY, passed away at the age of 67 years. John was  a man of quick wit and fighting spirit.  He lived many places, the most beloved being south central Texas.  John held various  jobs and loved learning, acquiring a vast array of knowledge that often surprised others. He was active in scouting, passionate about guns and served in the Air Force as a young man.   

John is survived by his wife (Mary nee Lohnes); his children Caitlin, Meredyth and Alex; step-children Michelle Messmer, Patricia (Ryan Dunn) Messmer and Joseph (Briana Murray) Messmer; grand-daughter Olivia Dunn and extended family.
