John F. "Uncle Jack" Salmonsen

John F. Salmonsen, "Uncle Jack", 92, passed away peacefully, March 16, 2021. John was born to Carl & Alice Salmonsen, Oct 3, 1928 and lived and worked at his family's farm for close to 60 years before moving to Bennett Manor in E. Syracuse. John also worked for the ES-M School District. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Lucy, brothers, Carl, Jr., Peter and Bob Salmonsen and his beloved sister, Marjorie Jewell. John is survived by his nephew, Doug Dyer and wife, Tammy who provided assistance to their much loved Uncle. John is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. John had a knack for fixing anything needing repair and was as kind and gentle as they come. A graveside service will be held Monday 3/22/21 at noon at the Fayetteville Cemetery, F-M Rd., Manlius. All are welcome to attend.
