John W. Tugaw

John W. Tugaw, 79, of Liverpool, N.Y. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 29th, 2020.

John graduated from Nottingham High School and Central Tech., served honorably in the U.S. Army, and was a dedicated career employee of 37 years with Sears, Roebuck & Co. John was an avid gardener. While raising a family, he grew primarily fruits and vegetables. His passion later focused on various perennials and annuals. He donated countless bouquets to family, friends, neighbors and local organizations.
 

John is survived by his three sons, Curt, Shawn, and Mark; his sisters, June and Mary, and six grandchildren. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at John’s home and garden this summer.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Syracuse or to Elmcrest Children’s Center.
