Josephine A. (Pucchia) Snyder

Josephine A. (Puccia) Snyder, 77, of Canastota, NY passed away peacefully, surrounded by family onFebruary 10, 2018 at the Grand.  She was born February 9, 1941 in Watertown, NY.  The daughter of the late Angelo and Philistine Puccia.  Jo is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald P. Snyder and her children, Donald P. (Kathleen) of Buffalo, Lisa (Michael) Slade of Syracuse, Michael (Theresa) of Canastota and Daniel (Mary) of Atlanta. Also survived by grandchildren Patrick & Joseph Snyder, Elizabeth Slade, Molly Campbell, Jessica (Frank) Slaunwhite, Emily & Katherine Snyder, Zachary Dillon and Daniel, Nicole & Jennifer Snyder.  Jo is also survived by her Sister Eleanor (Jack) Caltabiano, brothers Angelo (Benita) Puccia, Nelson Puccia, and Philip (Mary) Puccia and predeceased by her sisterMary Swayze. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Josephine was an active member of the St. Agatha Parish family as a Eucharistic Minister, a religious education instructor and an original perpetual adorer.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Agatha’s Church, 329 N Peterboro St., Canastota, NY on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM.  Family will be present at the church at 9:00 am for early visitation
