Josh Evans

Josh Evans, 85, of Dewitt NY fell asleep in death on 4/29/2024 after a short illness. Josh was born on 9/18/1938 to Caleb and Madlene (Bedford) Evans in Clarksdale, Mississippi. 

Josh is survived by his daughters Shawn and Sharlene (Emanuel Acosta) as well as his sons Luis and Josh. Josh is also survivedby his grandchildren Josh Jr, Corinne, NiJohn, Jamir, Caitlyn,Ava, his siblings Monroe Evans, Anna Evans Brown and Jerry Evans of Syracuse as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Anyone who knew him knew that he was an extremely hard-workingman. In his spare time, he enjoyed swimming, pool, coin collecting, construction projects as well as all things mechanical.Josh had a strong love for his family and complete faith in God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, it was this faith most of all that Josh and Vernelle enjoyed sharing with anyone willing to listen. Josh will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His memorial talk will be Wednesday June 26 at 11am, on Zoom.
