Joshua M. Angell

Joshua Angell, 41, left this world unexpectedly and too soon on August 18, 2023. Josh is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline and their children, Zach, Jane, Kenny, and Andrew.Only son of Sally and Michael Angell, Josh is now joined with his parents in Heaven. He found a chosen brother in the Hill family, where he was considered one of their own, for over 35 years.

As an interior firefighter for Delphi Falls, Josh was dedicated to helping others. He was a friend to many and quick to help anyone in need. It wouldn't be unusual to find him in front of the grill cooking for his family and friends (and trying to burn their mouths on peppers that are "not too hot"). Josh'sqability to bring laughter through his audacity will be missed at his favorite gatherings and cornhole matches. Never one to adhere to what is appropriate, he would light up a room and have everyonelaughing despite themselves. Recently, Josh was employed by Sun Environmental which he really enjoyed. An avid outdoors- man, he enjoyed hunting and archery. Josh will be remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as his maternal half siblings, Tanya Moody, and Christopher Burdick.

To honor his life, there will be a service held at Delphi Falls Fire Department on Saturday, September 2 at 2:00pm. There will be a short ceremony, followed by a BBQ and of course, cornhole.
