Kathleen T. Green-Marcely

Kathleen T. Green-Marcely, 62, of Chittenango, passed away February 6, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Syracuse and was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church.

Kathy was a graduate of Onondaga Community College. She was a manager and operator of Green's Hardware for over twenty years with her parent’s Charles and Margaret Green.

Kathy loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.  She was most happy having family and friends gather around the fire, swimming pool, and backyard, enjoying laughs, food, and each other. On any given Friday, you could find Kathy wrapped in a blanket on the couch with her grandson, enjoying what she called it; “Grandma Day.” 

She was predeceased by her loving mother,  Margaret Green.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 13 years, Dennis Marcely; her children, Mark (Sara) Green of Liverpool, Megan (Robert) Bloodough of Minoa, Eric (Courtney) Marcely of Kirkville, and Dennis (Amanda) Marcely of Hephzibah GA,; Father, Charles Green of Minoa, two brothers; Ernie Green of East Syracuse, and Charles (Laura) Green of Huntsville AL; and fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 12th at 11am in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa.
