Kelly Mohjie Moran

Kelly Mohjie Moran, 30, of Marcellus, NY, joined her father in heaven December 15, 2022. She was a 2011 graduate of Tully High School and graduated from OCC as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Kelly enjoyed traveling cross country as well as abroad to volunteer in environmental and wildlife programs. She was an amazing photographer and never missed an opportunity to climb a mountain or take a local hike. She enjoyed sitting by the creek behind her apartment, viewing wildlife and gazing at the night sky.

She had a very big heart and provided support and friendship to so many of us. She was a very unique individual and her awkwardness and comedic expression provided us all with so much laughter throughout the years. She was loved by all and will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her mother, Wendy Moran of Otisco, her sister and best friend, Shawna Moran-Purcell (Chris) of Pineville, NC, sister, Deena of Syracuse, a niece, Nicole Rizzo of Syracuse as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
